Then there’s Milo. Milo, Milo, Milo. The infuriatingly handsome pack leader who happens to be a wolf shifter, just like moi. We actually have a lot in common, like the gym we share, a blazing, undeniable attraction, and… the occasional desire to murder one another.

Speaking of, how was I supposed to know that some vamps were off-limits? I swore nobody would miss the three idiots who tried to kill me first. Well, I was wrong. The other wolves are furious and I’ll likely end up in the bottom of a ditch unless I prove myself. Fast.

I’ve heard the whisperings of the deadly Moon Trials… how competing wolves are practically gods among us. I’d consider throwing myself into the running, except for the pesky little fact that I don’t actually want to die.

I should just take my chances with the ditch, but going out with a bang is a lot more my style.
